Attending church can be overwhelming,
especially if you’re new.
We want to make your experience as easy as possible. While greeters will be at the door when you arrive, we also want to help guide you through your first day by providing you with a little information that will make you breathe easier when you step through our doors for the first time!
What Happens on Sundays?
Service Time
Our gathering starts at 10AM and runs approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Pastor Dan Hamill and Pastor Jeff McCrea work together as a team. We occasionally have special guests or skilled members of our congregation take a turn. To get a feel for a typical Sunday morning you can watch our archive of services here.
Welcome Center
Just inside the main entrance, you will find our Welcome Center staffed with volunteers who are ready to welcome you, answer any questions, and direct you as needed. Please introduce yourself so that we can assist you in your visit.
Parking
Once you arrive, you will notice that our parking lot and our main entrance are behind the church. There are several accessibility parking spots by the entrance. We are easily accessible by wheelchair and have an elevator for accessing the lower level.
Music
Our worship songs are a mix of traditional and contemporary worship songs led by one of our four worship teams.
Coffee
After service, join us for coffee or tea in the gym. It's a chance to meet new people and ask questions if you have any.
What to Wear
We are a mix of casual, semi-casual, and comfortable dress-up church. Come as you are comfortable!
What About My Children?
For the safety and protection of your children and the workers, Bethel Church has a working Protection Plan, and all of our children/youth workers have been screened.
Nursery
Babies to two years old can be signed in prior to service at our nursery on the lower level.
Preschool
Children aged three and four join us in the service and are released partway through with the children's workers. A parent or guardian will need to sign them in and out.
Children
Older children (up to grade 5) join us in the service for the first part and are released with the younger children to their program in the church's lower level.
Youth
Youth (grades 6-12) join the adults for our morning service.
